Monica Collier
Monica learned the art of photography in Paris. The City of Light captured her attention for over a year. Weddings were her calling with the camera she realized. Since 2001, she’s rarely had a Saturday off during the Summer months. Earthy, quirky and feisty, she puts lots of time into creating the right energy to get to the job done.
“I used to get really nervous when I photographed weddings. I was so afraid I’d miss a moment. Now, I am comfortable in my own skin. I try to tap in to what the Bride envisioned and enjoy the feel of what’s around me.”
It seems she likes being creative in lots of ways as well. She writes, designs, cooks, and gardens. All that and travel too. She should like to travel the world- she graduated from Western Carolina University with a degree in Geography.
Did we forget to mention she has a best selling novel with a sequel on the way? That’s right- Unwritten. If you like JAG and NCIS, check it out. Atlanta Review hailed it as Tom Clancy meets Danielle Steele.
